The National Security Agency (NSA) anticipates hiring in excess of 1000 personnel in the coming year.  NSA currently has a number of openings for full-time positions in all our mission areas. SU Cybersecurity Symposium in Dubai and Saudi Arabia

SU cybersecurity faculty held a cybersecurity symposium for government, academia, and industry in Dubai and Saudi Arabia, introducing the new ground for cybersecurity needs and resources based on best practices and experiences with Department of Defense and corporate partnerships, covering the cybersecurity issues in defense and national security operations, medical record systems, financial and banking systems, critical infrastructure, financial services, and other critical services. SU Champions National Cyber Security

October marks the 10th anniversary of National Cyber Security Awareness Month (NCSAM), a program designed to raise awareness of online and internet security, sponsored by the Department of Homeland Security.  Here at Syracuse University, Information Technology and Services (ITS) will champion this cause with a workshop, an online IT Security employee training program and a series of promotional events and informational articles throughout the month. preSAGE established, researching privacy, regulation, & economics in smart assured grid ecosystem

Syracuse University has established the preSAGE group, focuses on developing systems that provide security, privacy, integrity, accountability and functionality for people in a deeply interconnected world.  The group applies four perspectives-technology, security, economics, and law-in an integrated approach to solve emerging problems, such as management of the electric grid and other critical infrastructure.
